Corrective Exercise Gone Too Far

Lay on your back. Pick up weight and stand up. The dogma around this exercise has completely ruined it for me. I actually didn’t do a getup for 6 months in complete protest, because I saw people flipping out on an instructor’s forum about how someone didn’t have the correct angle when doing a heavy get-up and 50 different comments with the need to coach every single movement.
